April 23, 2024— Students at Harvey Clarke Elementary School reviewed and voted on two designs for their new play structure. Although the total votes were tied, "Option B" was selected because it provided more accessibility for both younger and older students. Also selected were the colors of the play structure: lavender for the rotomolded components; blue-green and plum for the posts and components; and plum for the sheet plastic.
The design of the selected play structure will be posted as soon as the colors are included in the renderings. Installation of the new play structure is expected to take place this summer as part of the 2022 FGSD Bond implementation.
